  The First John Green Day was held at The Moat House Hotel, Northampton, on 31 March 2001.

Music was provided by Steve Gibbons, who played 2 sets beautifully, and Society's Plyers, a group made up of fine musicians, who are also members of The Cambridge Bob Dylan Society.

Talks were given by Andrew Muir, C.P. Lee and Clinton Heylin.

The Second John Green Day (The Basements In Northampton) was held at The Moat House Hotel, Northampton, on 31 August 2002.

One of the highlights of the day was a performance by folk legend Julie Felix, which coincided with the release of her long-awaited double CD of Bob Dylan covers.

Talks were given by Derek Barker (Isis), C.P. Lee and Andrew Muir.

The Third John Green Day (Folk Ways In Northampton) was held at The Moat House Hotel, Northampton, on 17 May 2003.

Around 200 people attended the day, the highlight of which was Carolyn Hester, whose debut LP for Columbia Records featured a Greenwich Village newcomer on harmonica, Bob Dylan.

Andrew Muir launched his new book on Dylan's lyrics at the event and C.P. Lee was also available to sign copies of his new book "Shake, Rattle and Rain". There was live music with performances from the wonderful Dylanesque, from the band Cold Overture and, of course, from Carolyn Hester.

The Fourth Annual John Green Day was held at the Northampton Moat House Hotel on Saturday 27th March 2004.

The day included some first-rate speakers, discussion sessions and merchandise tables. There was also live music from the brilliant young band - Cold Overture, and the headliner was Steve Gibbons – founder of The Dylan Project, who was also star of the show at the very first John Green Day in 2001.

The Fifth Annual John Green Day was held at Hotel Elizabeth in Rockingham, near Corby, on Saturday 30 July 2005.

Talks were given by well-known Dylan authors - Clinton Heylin, C.P. Lee and Andrew Muir, and there were traders selling all manner of Dylan-related material. The day was rounded off with live music from two top bands - Dylanesque and Cold Overture.

The Sixth Annual John Green Day was held on Saturday 28 October, 2006, at Park Inn, Northampton (formerly The Moat House).

 

Rob Stoner and Scarlet Rivera, who were in Dylan's band during The Rolling Thunder Revue tour, headlined at the Convention. During the afternoon they took part in a Questions & Answers session, and in the evening performed Rolling Thunder songs and more together with Joel Gilbert and top US Dylan tribute band Highway 61 Revisited. The evening got underway with Convention favourites Cold Overture.

 

The afternoon featured top speakers including Dylan author Michael Gray, C.P. Lee and Duncan Bartlett.
